About Ouida Duncan
Ouida Duncan, CPC, ELI-MP, MBA (Strategy), Founder and Board Chair of Duncan Tree Ventures and White River Consulting, Inc. her coaching practice also known as Coached.by.Ouida. She is a growth strategist with a proven track record of transforming individuals, teams, and communities.

Growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, Ouida experienced firsthand the power of community: every Labor Day, neighbors would come together to paint homes, sweep sidewalks, and trim hedges, showing her how collective effort can create lasting change.

Despite facing personal challenges and childhood trauma, Ouida pursued her passion for transformation. She studied Landmark Education’s Curriculum for Living and the Hoffman Process, learning the power of forgiveness, self-reflection, and personal accountability. These experiences shaped her approach to guiding others toward purpose, clarity, and resilience.

With more than 20 years in global advertising, Ouida has a reputation for turning underperforming accounts into profit centers and transforming teams into award-winning groups. She founded Duncan Tree Ventures in 2008, growing it alongside her high-pressure corporate career, and in 2016, she shifted her focus full-time to leading Duncan Tree to empower underserved communities worldwide through education, healing, and personal growth.

Ouida is an iPEC-trained and licensed Growth Strategist and Certified Professional Emotional Intelligence Coach through iPEC. She is also certified in IDEAB through Cornell University and holds an MBA in International Business (Strategy) from the University of Bath, UK.

Her approach combines emotional intelligence, leadership insight, and practical business acumen. A mother of four daughters, Ouida understands the pressures of corporate life, financial responsibility, and personal growth firsthand. She helps individuals navigate challenges with clarity and purpose, guiding them to realize their full potential.

Philanthropy & Community Impact
Ouida founded Duncan Tree Ventures (formerly Duncan Tree Foundation) in 2008 to support underserved communities worldwide. Her mission is to connect resources to those who need them most and to foster empowerment, healing, and education.

Her work has earned recognition from the Jamaican Ministry of Health, the Filipino government, U.S.-based community organizations, and local hospitals. Despite these accolades, Ouida considers her greatest achievement to be raising four remarkable daughters while creating lasting impact through Duncan Tree.
